The Welwitschia-1well is now set to be spudded around 18 April, about two months later thanplanned, using the drillship Rowan Renaissance that has now arrived in the vicinityof the drilling location in Walvis Bay, Tower Resources said in a statement.
The RowanCompanies-owned newbuild was originally due to be delivered from South Koreanyard Hyundai Heavy Industries by the end of December but was handed over to theUS rig contractor last month.
