The National Offshore Petroleum Titles Administrator awarded the joint venture a production licence over VIC/L31 off the coast of Victoria.
The award of the production licence shores up the West Seahorse project, with a final investment decision expected in early 2014.
The development comprises two production wells connected to a jack-up production unit and linked to a floating storage and offloading vessel.
