After three hours of mediation talks last Friday, the parties agreed that Wiborg’s dismissal was to be cancelled and that he will take an early retirement plan from April this year.
“The parties have now agreed to a voluntary termination of employment, and both are relieved that the case is closed,” Wiborg told Upstream.
He is expected to write an advisory report on how the NPD should promote the interests of Norwegian society in its dealings with major oil companies.
