The Gulf Trace project will expand the Transco pipeline by 1.2 million dekatherms per day (1.2 billion cubic feet per day) with a projected start-up in early 2017, Williams said on Friday.
Transco has signed a deal as an anchor shipper for the Sabine Pass liquefaction facility in Cameron Parish. An open season to attract additional customers is scheduled to wrap up in May.
