China Oilfield Services has placed the order for the unitwhich will be installed on Pemex’s Tsimin-C production platform in the Bay ofCampeche.
The 2500-tonne module will be built at Wison Offshore &Marine’s Nantong facility in China with delivery slated for the second quarternext year.
Wison did not give a contract value in Wednesday’s award announcement.
Wison will provide project management, procurement, productionengineering, fabrication, load-out, offshore installation and commissioningsupport of the 3000-hp rig.
