The Australian major announced on Thursday that the consortium terminated the agreement after the company’s decision last year to scrap plans for an onshore Browse LNG plant.
Under the terms of the agreement, Woodside was set to deliver 1.5 million tonnes of LNG per year.
It was conditional on Woodside making a final investment decision by the end of 2013.
The two companies entered into an agreement to jointly (JMA) market co-mingled LNG to the Asian market.
