The company has completed its Browse FLNG Development Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Referral with extensive details regarding the well plans for the field.
"A mobile offshore drilling unit will be used to drill subsea wells,” the report said. “It is expected that approximately 64 wells will be drilled over the life of the Browse FLNG Development.”
Three floating liquefied natural gas (FLNG) facilities will be used, as Woodside previously announced.
