Pampa has committed to invest $81.5 million in a yearlong phase 1 to drill 17 wells and complete 40,000 square kilometres of 3D seismic in the Neuqen province block targeting the Mulichinco formation.
YPF has pledged to spend the same amount to drill its own 17 wells.
After the first year, Pampa could also opt to move into a second twelve-month phase covering $70 million in investment and 15 wells.
