The Nigerian Department of Petroleum Resources has approved the plan, which will now allow joint venture partners to move forward with some major contracts for work on the project, according to joint venture partner Jacka Resources.
Joint venture partners have also voted to shoot new 3D seismic over OML113, with the survey set to start shortly.
The seismic is set to define existing targets on the field as well as exploring for new prospects and extending the recently discovered Ogo field in the adjacent block.
