The company will acquire the 3215 square-kilometre Bortovoy licence, located in the Saratov oblast, that already hosts a number of gas fields and will become Zoltav’s first producing asset.
The licence, with proven and probable reserves of 22.4 billion cubic metres and 12.4 million barrels of oil and condensate, also contains a processing plant. It produced 475 million cubic feet of gas and 349,000 barrels of liquids last year.
