Statoil is closing in on a concept for the second stage of the massive Johan Sverdrup development off Norway, with good news on the horizon for platform fabricators.
The Norwegian operator and its partners in the Sverdrup oilfield, which in June won approval for the $15 billion first phase of the development, are preparing for the next stage of the project.
