Township supervisor Daniel Roupp cut down six trees to block the road in Cogan House Township.
“I’m thinking we got their attention,” he told local news provider Pennlive.com.
The township has responsibility for maintaining the gravel road and had asked Range not to use it after an increase in trucks led to damage.
Pennlive.com said the township erected signs banning the heavy vehicles but said truck drivers ignored them.
