It looks like someone, or something, may have stacked the deck when it comes to the number of people registered to speak out in opposition to the proposed 1200-kilometre pipeline shipping crude from Alberta’s oil sands to a marine port along BC’s coastline (above).
Of the more than 4300 registered on the NEB’s website – each allotted at least 10 minutes to speak during the 18-month joint review panel hearings – several claim they are not involved.
