Installed at the toe of a well of a horizontal completion, the BigFoot testable toe sleeve from PetroQuip Energy Services allows casing pressure testing at maximum rated values. The sleeve can then be opened later at a predetermined pressure lower than the test pressure.
“It puts all the control back into the operators’ hands, which is something that is not in the industry today,” says Rodney Long, PetroQuip’s vice president of business development.
