Hutton also used a tendon deployment and attachment approach that was rapidly superseded. All other TLPs, except Norway’s Snorre, placed in 1992, have connected their tendons at external porches on the hull. The tendon elements for Hutton and Snorre were connected and deployed from manned chambers inside their four corner columns.
