The Lewek Constellation’s six-year journey from concept to christening has taken it from the Triyards shipyard in Vietnam to the Huisman facility in China, for installation of the vessel’s 3000-tonne capacity offshore mast crane in early 2014. From there, the ship set sail for Huisman’s yard in Schiedam, Netherlands, with a stop off Gabon for the installation of the Etame and Southeast Etame/North Tchibala (SEENT) fixed platforms and topsides for Vaalco.
