Trendsetter Engineering is nearing delivery this month of the industry’s first 400 degrees Fahrenheit (204.4 degrees Celsius) capping stack.
Last November, the Houston-based company qualified a metal-to-metal sealing gasket to meet 400 degrees Fahrenheit and 15,000 psi conditions.
This is the company’s 11th capping stack device.
Trendsetter is also working on the industry’s first 20,000 psi capping device, which is due for delivery in 2018.
