Magma’s m-pipe is a lightweight, corrosion-resistant fully bonded composite thermoplastic pipe. Many in the industry see bonded composite pipe as ideal for deepwater and corrosive environments, but the material’s cost has hampered its wider use in demanding subsea applications such as risers, jumpers and intervention lines (see Upstream Technology 03/2015).
