The vessel’s hull will be integrated at a new offshore dock under construction at one of the contractor’s Singapore yards.
The newbuild DP3 crane vessel, designed for installation and decommissioning of offshore facilities worldwide, is scheduled for delivery in 2018.
With a displacement of 273,700 tonnes, the vessel will measure 220 metres long and 102 metres wide, with a lifting capacity of up to 20,000 tonnes.
