Adding a 10-inch diameter internal gas buster tube provided more surface area for gas breakout and an eight-inch diameter vertical vent minimised velocity spillover and reduced mist carryover to “significantly” optimise gas separation, the company says.
With the gas buster enclosed in the tank, the system can be completely sealed, is self-pressurised, safely contains all gas, and is able to securely transmit gas to the vent or flare.
