The small privately-owned CCS specialist, which bought the Don Valley Power CCS project in Yorkshire from 2Co Energy last December after the scheme failed to be shortlisted for the UK’s £1 billion ($1.57 billion) CCS competition, will press ahead with plans to deploy carbon dioxide capture technology at a new-build gas power plant, which will later be expanded to use coal.
