The company has a 10-year contract for multi-service support of the BP Thunder Horse platform, where two UHD-III ROVs will be installed. Additional support will be provided by the offshore supply vessel Jack Edwards, which hosts a third UHD-III unit.
Meanwhile, BP and Thunder Horse partner ExxonMobil have hired Technip to carry out design, engineering, fabrication, installation and pre-commissioning of a new production pipeline system on the platform’s south side.
