OneSubsea, the Cameron and Schlumberger company, will lead the JIP by completing a portfolio of technology development projects and “managing the evolution of the required enabling technologies in order to address Chevron’s high-pressure field development challenges, and those of the wider subsea industry”, the company says.
OneSubsea also recently partnered with Subsea 7 to jointly design, develop and deliver integrated subsea systems for selected projects, combining Subsea 7’s extensive subsea umbilicals, risers and flowlines capability with OneSubsea’s subsea production and processing expertise.
