The US giant has skinning problems with the reservoir in two of the development wells that is limiting production by decreasing permeability around the wellbore, company executives told investors.
Moreover, Hess reported that a subsea valve on another of the wells is stuck in the closed position.
Both issues will require intervention to fix, causing Hess to lower its production guidance for the field to 20,000 net barrels per day.
