Next summer, Maersk Drilling expects to take delivery of the fourth, and for now, final jack-up in the XLE series. The as-yet unnamed rig will join the XLE jack-ups Intrepid, Interceptor and Integrator on the Norwegian continental shelf, where the enhanced series precursors, the XL rigs Innovator and Inspirer, have been in service for more than a decade.
The company bills the rigs as the largest and most advanced on the market.
