Planning for a field development in high-pressure, high-temperature areas like the Lower Tertiary begins early in the project’s life cycle, says Neil Mackintosh, president of Worley Parsons’ Intecsea subsea unit.
The company worked on design for Hess’ Tubular Bells, a 15,000 pounds per square inch system that came online last year.
It also carried out pre-front-end engineering and design and FEED for Stampede and is currently working on detailed design and execution.
