The Gauge Pro Echo on-command, bi-directional digital reamer minimises the rathole, the extra hole at the bottom part of the wellbore that is drilled with the bit only, and decreases additional reaming trips typically required for this section, the company says.
The reamer can be activated and deactivated, processes that normally require eight minutes per cycle, as many times as necessary.
