The technical issue with the system on the Kwame Nkrumah FPSO has halted gas exports from the field to the onshore Atuabo plant since 3 July, with repairs set to take up to mid-August, Tullow said this week.
“Oil production is currently constrained to approximately 65,000 (barrels per day of oil) and is under constant review, but there is no effect on the field’s reservoir or resources,” the London-listed independent said.
