The Petroleum Safety Authority (PSA), which has already given the rig the green light to work off Norway, has now uncovered more shortcomings after carrying out an audit of logistics that included materials handling and lifting equipment earlier this year.
Non-conformities were found with the management system for use of lifting equipment, offshore cranes for pipe handling and emergency operation of lifting appliances, among other areas, according to a PSA statement on Monday.
