GOS standsto gain a controlling interest in the Julia Creek oil shale tenements held byXtract by funding and carrying out a three-year work programme at the 709square-kilometre tract under a heads of terms signed by the companies.
The scopeof work would include exploration, development and engineering activities gearedto bringing Julia Creek, which holds an estimated 2.18 billion barrels of shaleoil, into production.
