Mexico's oil exports of 1.85 milllion bpd will dip to 1.8 million bpd from 8 January, said Raul Cardoso, the head of Mexico's delegation attending Thursday's Opec meeting in Nigeria.
However, new projects under development should restore that shortfall in the second half of 2007, Cardoso said.
Mexico's Energy Ministry on Thursday said it would not make any adjustment to oil outpout in line with Opec's decision to cut its production by 500,000 bpd from 1 February.
