Units of the Calgary-based trust climbed US$3.79, or 15.1% t, to US$28.90 on volume of 711,000 shares.

The company said it was upping its monthly distribution to 35 Canadian cents a unit from 25 Canadian cents, beginning with its August pay out.

This followed on the heels of a 5 Canadian cent a unit boost in June.

The boost in distributions and the positive earnings prompted National Bank Financial analyst Menal Patel to boost the trust's unit target price to US$27.62
