The business daily Infobae said cited Pluspetrol executive Ruben Sabatini as saying the funds will be used to install new technology that will help boost declining production at the gas fields in Argentina's north-west Salta province.
Pluspetrol is Argentina's fourth-largest gas producer, accounting for about 13 million cubic metres per day of gas.
