The state-led oil firm on Monday announced the replacement for Miguel Galuccio, the longtime Schlumberger man who had run the company since its re-nationalisation in 2012 until his exit in March.
Darre was most recently president of exploration and production for Total in the US and longtime veteran of the supermajor.
