The semi-submersible rig Sedco 703, which most recently drilled Apache's big Julimar-1 gas discovery , has moved south-west to the Exmouth basin and has started drilling the Crosby West prospect, said Apache in its lastest quarterly.
The US indepedent is a non-operating partner in all five exploration wells.
Apache is also a partner in the BHP-operated Pyrenees project, which comprises the Ravensworth, Crosby, Stickle and Harrison fields; and is the operator of the Theo Van Gogh project.
