A multi-phase subsea pipeline of about 100 kilometres in length will transport gas between the field and the new onshore plant. Sources said JP Kenny, a Wood Group company, is favoured for the pipeline design.
FEED tenders for Reindeer were issued some months ago, but the project was put on hold while Apache absorbed the implications of its large Julimar gas find 100 kilometres west of Reindeer, and negotiated with its joint venture partner Santos.
