Co-venturer Horizon Oil said today that China National Offshore Oil Corporation (CNOOC) is supportive of the concept of providing pipeline capacity between its own existing Wei 12-1 platform and onshore processing facilities on Weizhou Island.
This means that the Roc Oil-operated Wei Oil Complex project would only require small platforms on its Wei 6-12S, Wei 12-8W and Wei 12-8E fields, and a subsea pipeline to CNOOC's Wei 12-1 platform.
