It is understood that consortiums led by India's Reliance Industries, Australia's Arrow Energy were awarded blocks, while one block went to BP and two to US-based Coalgas Mart.
The round kicked off last February, with the blocks located in the states of Andhra Pradesh, Chattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Jharkhand and West Bengal. The government received more than 50 bids, reported local media.
