Net production to Santos in the three months 30 September of 1.48 million barrels was 66% above the previous three-month period, and represents an average gross production rate of 48,900 barrels of oil per day, the operator said.
The Mutineer-12 development well was brought on stream late in the third quarter "significantly increased production during the quarter".
Two further wells - Exeter-7 and 8 - were drilled in the quarter.
