However, prices of petroleum and chemical products for the rest of this year were expected to decline from the first quarter as a result of weaker oil prices, PTT President Prasert Bunsumpun told reporters.
"Product prices should decline while sales volume will continue rising. This will help achieve growth of 10 percent this year," Prasert said.
World oil prices dropped to a three-month low to below $49 a barrel on Thursday on rising US crude inventuries and signs of slower global demand growth.
