The Pindori-6 sidetrack well was intended to exploit the hydrocarbon potential of already discovered reserves of Chorgali and Sakesar formations of Eocene age.
A successful drill stem test of the well was completed at a rate of 2455 barrels per day of oil and 8.89 million cubic feet per day of gas.
