The new yard covers an area of 64000 square metres and is more than double the size of Vetco Aibel's previous yard at Map Ta Phut.
Vetco Aibel chief executive Rasmus Sunde said: "This yard has been built with the long-term future in mind, in terms of location, facilities and staff."
Vetco Aibel is currently working on eight topside modules for Maersk and Woodside's Vincent project off Western Australia.
