Royal Boskalis revealed the vessel, which was named and christened during a ceremony in Guangzhou, China on Wednesday, would be mobilised to Singapore for its maiden transport of two drilling rigs for discharge in Abu Dhabi.
The White Marlin was built by Guangzhou Shipyard International and measures in at 216 metres long, with a beam of 63 metres, and a deadweight of 72,000 metric tonnes.
