Seadrill's current offer to acquire all of Eastern Drilling is Nkr92 per share ($13.7). The offer expires on 16 October.
However, Eastern said that it had sent a letter to the stock exchange asking it to require Seadrill to pay Nkr132.706 per share and to extend the offer period.
Eastern said the bourse should intervene because Seadrill carried out trades in Eastern stock futures in the period from 6 April to 31 July at a price as high as Nkr132.706.
