Flows of gas through Langeled, one of the UK's largest gas import pipelines, have steadily fallen since hitting 62 million cubic metres per day in mid-December, shortly after a brief pipeline maintenance outage.
By midday today flows had fallen to just 33 MMcmd, but the spokesman said the reduction was not for a lack of pipeline capacity to get the gas to the UK.
