The lifeboats have been strengthened beyond Solas requirements. The new test was done under the independent supervision of notification body, Lloyd's Register.
Schat-Harding lifeboat test success
Lifeboat manufacturer Schat-Harding has successfully tested the first of six of its skid-launched freefall lifeboats after an upgrade following a test failure that resulted in the shut down of Statoil's Veslefrikk and Kristin platforms in the North Sea.
