The British company said its has received a letter of intent to carry out pre-front-end engineering and design work on a new gas treatment module destined for Statoil’s Heidrun platform off Norway.
The contract, valued at about $1 million, is the first of its type for Wood Group Engineering in Norway.
The aim is to design and engineer a new module alongside integrating brownfield elements for a new gas compression system.
