Under the terms of a new Production Sharing Contract (PSC), Occidental will serve as operator of the field and hold a 45% interest.
The Government of Oman, through Oman Oil Company, will carry 20% interest, 17% will be held by Shell Oman Trading Company, 15% by Liwa Energy, Total E&P Oman will hold a 2% interest, and Partex (Oman) will hold the rremaining 1%.
