BP has requested permission to build a third LNG train at its existing Tangguh plant in Papua, Indonesia. The new unit will have a 3.8 million tonnes per annum capacity.A Plan for Further Development (POFD) which contains both the project’s technical and commercial details has now been submitted to Indonesian regulator BPMigas.A spokesman from BPMigas told the Jakarta Post that he expected a decision to be made soon.
