Qatar Gas Transport Company has taken delivery of the last in its huge haul of Q-Flex LNG carriers.
The 210,100-cbm Al Bahiya was handed over by Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering on Saturday.
The vessel has started its long-term charter with Shell and Qatar Petroleum’s Qatargas 4 project.
In total, Korea’s big three shipyards have churned out 31 Q-Flex. DSME has built the lion’s share with 16, Hyundai Heavy Industries eight with Samsung Heavy Industries (SHI) produced seven.
